Why this matters

ETF Outflows Dominate Seven-Day Window Despite $790M Recovery Headline

Sustained ETF outflows averaging -$225M per day reduce the institutional demand needed to drive Bitcoin to a new all-time high, making near-term ATH targets increasingly uncertain.

  • Nine-day ETF outflows hit $2.25 billion, IBIT leads with $1.94B exit

BitcoinTreasuries.com shows total net flows across all U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs were -$2,253.8M over May 28–Jun 10, 2026, with BlackRock's IBIT alone accounting for -$1,943.7M. An average daily drain of -$225.4M signals sustained institutional selling pressure well beyond any short-lived daily recovery.

  • Consecutive daily outflows persist through June 10 with no stabilisation

Farside Investors data shows negative net flows on Jun 5 (-$325.7M), Jun 8 (-$91.4M), Jun 9 (-$77.4M), Jun 10 (-$213.9M), and Jun 11 (-$22.5M). The string of red sessions, including a single-day trough of -$874.8M on Jun 2, shows the outflow trend has not yet bottomed.

  • Only MSBT and ARKB posted positive nine-day flows, far too small to offset

MSBT collected +$38.8M and ARKB +$15.8M over the nine-day window — together less than 3% of IBIT's outflow alone. The near-total concentration of exits in the dominant fund underscores that the headline $790M inflow figure masks a deeply negative underlying trend.
